Do you have a minimum for your services?
We don’t for packing jobs, we do however have a $100 minimum for loading, moving and unloading jobs. We are available to sell your unwanted items whether we do a full move or just a packing job. We ask that we can list your items for at least 2 week.
Do you charge hourly?
We do have hourly rates for moving, loading and unloading of $85 an hour for 2 movers. And for packing and unpacking $75 an hour for 2 packers. These rates are used for job estimates. If you want a net price for our services that can also be provided as long as we can inspect your property and what is required prior to the work . Boxes and shrink wrap are an additional cost of needed.
Yes, we do short intrastate moves within Colorado. We also pack or unpack your items and use our bar code system which helps you easily identify what is inside the box as opposed to just reading where the items came from on the outside of the box. Our system allows you to see what is in the box so you know where your key items are when you begin the unpacking process.
Do you charge a percentage for the price per item sold?
Yes, we charge 25% of the price your item sells for, while you keep 75%.
What happens if my items don’t sell?
If an item does not sell within a week of listing it or before your actual move we will donate the item to charity or give the item away.
Does Avalanche supply the boxes, tape and packing materials?
Yes, with a minimal cost.
When are your services available?
Our services are available from 9AM to 9PM 7 days a week and other hours upon request.
What are the payment terms?
We require a 50% deposit before packing begins, then the remaining 50% will be charged upon completion.
What if items are damaged during a move?
Avalanche Packing and Selling is fully insured for any damage incurred during the move.
How soon can you start moving/packing my things?
We are able to start moving/packing within 1-3 days of your assessment. We are also available for expedited jobs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept bank E-Checks, Paypal, Cash App, Venmo, and all major credit cards.
